Why Have Them?
Mission is important to us as a church because we take seriously what Jesus taught about telling people the good news and caring for others. We believe we should always be willing to practically care for and serve others, and be ready to tell people Jesus' good news, whoever they are, or wherever they live.
Who We Support
As well as being involved in 'mission' here in Chard we also support missionaries at home and abroad, both financially and in prayer. The people we support are doing a wide variety of work including teaching, building maintenance, administration, producing religious education resources for schools, bible teaching, setting up new churches, student work, and pastoral care.
