The Lord's Larder

what is it?

The Lord's Larder is a local store of non-perishable food donated by people from the churches in the Chard area. It is run by volunteers and the project coordinator is Diana Goldsmith. Based at Forefront Community Centre it was re-launched on May 30th 2009 by the Mayor, Councillor Wale.

Lord's Larder has received a contribution of £250 from South Somerset District Council towards running costs as well as donations from local people, societies and schools.
